Uplifting the user experience of a student management system and e-commerce platform

Project: Website UX + UI Design for the student management system

Brief: Upgrade our SASS product with a new theme, and improve the User Experience.

My role: Analysis of the new theme, interpretation of new brand into SaSS product theme, UX of screen layouts and additional UI.

• Took a holistic view of all the platforms in the ecosystem and brought coherent branding and UX and UI patterns to this portal as much as possible to reduce the cognitive load on users as they traverse all the various products in the eco-system.

• Made a plan for future continuous improvement to be undertaken over the next year as this product has had extensive customisation over the last few years screen by screen.

• This was no small undertaking - we looked at all components in the theme and applied updated styling but then had to test deeply across the entire product as there are three unique customer portals within the product and many customisations had been done by developers within each of those, not observing the component library.
